Graduate Research Assistantship (M.S.) is available to study carbon dynamics in oak-pine savanna in eastern Oklahoma to begin Spring or Summer 2011. This project is part of a larger research effort examining the community and production ecology of the tallgrass prairie – oak & pine forest – prescribed fire interactions in newly restored savanna. Research opportunities can be tailored to interest, and we invite students to apply with research interests ranging from plant community ecology, to eco- physiology, production ecology or ecological modeling.
