FIELD TECHNICIAN (1) - needed ~*1 April to ~31 June 2011.*  We are examining
the effects of heavy metal accumulation on the immune system of Song
Sparrows in southeast Arizona.  Duties will include target and mist netting,
banding, drawing blood, collecting feathers, and data entry.   Applicants
should have experience handling small passerines and should be able to work
long hours (starting before sunrise) in relatively remote areas, and in hot
weather.  Experience collecting blood from birds is a plus.  Field housing
will be provided in the Patagonia area. Salary is $325 per week plus $20 per
