Four positions (contract length of 3 years each) are available at The University of Western Australia (ref: 3890). Salary range: Research Associate (Level A approx $77k p.a.) to Research Assistant Professor (Level B approx $81k-$96k p.a.), dependent on qualifications and experience.
The positions are located within the Ecosystem Restoration & Intervention Ecology Research Group headed by Prof Richard Hobbs. This is an outstanding opportunity for highly motivated scientists to be involved in exciting conceptual and practical ecology research projects in a world class research environment located in a city with an exceptional quality of life. The research is associated with the ARC Centre of Excellence for Environmental Decisions and the National Environment Research Program (NERP) Environmental Decisions Hub. The wider aim of the Centre is to tackle the key gaps in environmental decision making, monitoring and adaptive management through an integrated research program. Applicants must have a PhD in ecology or related area.
