Publishing Internship at Frontiers - Ecological Society of America The Ecological Society of America (ESA) is looking for an intern, to be based at its Washington, DC, office, to help with the production of its journals, Frontiers in Ecology and the Environment (www.frontiersinecology.org). The internship is a great opportunity to learn about scientific publishing. Depending on experience and aptitude, the intern will be involved in many different aspects of journal production, including editing/proofreading, news writing, podcasting, and image research, as well as other day-to-day activities of the editorial office.
The internship includes a small stipend. The successful applicant should be a graduate student with a knowledge of ecology and/or environmental science; an interest in, or experience with, publishing or science writing would be an advantage.
