Description: Two (2) field technicians are needed to study restoration ecology of native bees. The objective of this research is to determine the affect of restorations on native bees, honey bees and other agriculturally important insects. The majority of this position will be fieldwork and will take place throughout New Jersey. There will also be some lab work involving data processing and entering. Required Qualifications: Ecology fieldwork; valid drivers license; desire to work long hours in hot, humid conditions. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in entomology and/or botany collection and identification; Personal Vehicle (mileage reimbursements will be provided). Dates: 1 position will start in early May and run through mid-September with the second position being slightly shorter (Mid-May to Mid or End of August).
