A quick update from La MICA Biological Station....as always we are busy! Publications We just submitted 3 short communications (all currently in review) and have 2 full-length publications in press, ready to come out any day now. We'll keep you updated on http://www.lamica.org/publications.html. Donor Match in Progress! We have been offered a $200 match of donations. Now is definitely a time when no donation is too small! http://www.lamica.org/Donate.html Upcoming Group Visit from UW-Eau Claire After Julie gave a departmental seminar at University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire last week a group has organized themselves to visit us this Spring Break! They will explore the National Park, help around La MICA, give a talk to the local grade-schoolers, and have some cultural and language immersion. We are all very excited for their visit as this will be yet another opportunity for employment for our local people.
