Biological Science Technician – The National Wildlife Research Center (NWRC), located in Fort Collins, Colorado is the main research organization of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, Wildlife Services. This position is concerned with the development of novel toxicants and chemical compounds to reduce wildlife damage and disease concerns. The incumbent will work in both laboratory and field settings participating in a wide variety of multi- disciplinary studies. Applicants for this position should possess prior laboratory experience and have the ability to work independently. Also, experience writing scientific reports and/or manuscripts is highly desired. A undergraduate or graduate degree in Biological Sciences is desired for this position. The Office of Personnel Managements (OPM) Qualification Standards will be utilized to determine the qualifications for this position.
