Assistant Director/Project Administrator iUTAH EPSCoR Utah State University Utah State University seeks an Assistant Director/Project Administrator to coordinate, manage, and integrate the day-to-day activities and mission functions of the iUTAH EPSCoR project and associated activities of the Utah NSF EPSCoR Program (http://iutahepscor.org ). The iUTAH (innovative Urban Transitions and Aridregion Hydro-sustainability) Project focuses on understanding how relationships among water, people, and nature affect water resources and ecological processes in both montane and urban settings along the urbanizing Wasatch Front. The project is funded by an award from the National Science Foundation. The incumbent will be expected to work closely with interdisciplinary, cross-institutional teams from across the state of Utah in support of the iUTAH mission, which includes enhancing collaborative partnerships to better understand how to sustain Utah’s water resources through integrated research and training, and by expanding the state’s economic, educational, and research competitiveness. Major responsibilities include working closely with project leadership, coordinating and supporting activities, facilitating collaboration and communication among iUTAH participants and partners, and promoting activities among iUTAH participants.

We are looking for an individual able to take initiative and multi-task, accept responsibility and direction for immediate actions, coordinate and accomplish tasks to completion in timely and effective matters. This individual will also direct a small staff in support of the iUTAH Project. As a minimum, the incumbent must have a Master’s degree in a field of science, engineering, education, or social science with experience relevant to iUTAH project themes and mission.
