Dear Colleagues,

We would like to invite your contributions to our session at the AGU 2014
Fall Meeting: #1723. "Mineral Dust Aerosols: From Small-Scale Insights to
Large-Scale Understanding". This popular multidisciplinary session is now
being offered for its third year!

The session description is:
"Interactions of the dust cycle with other components of the Earth system
produce a wide range of complex effects on, for instance, ecosystems,
climate, and atmospheric composition. To better understand and simulate
these effects, a wide range of advances are needed, including in field and
laboratory measurements, remote sensing techniques, and models of the
physical and chemical properties of dust. This session invites
contributions reporting any such advances, as well as studies addressing
any aspect of the dust cycle and its impact on the Earth system. This
includes studies of dust properties, dust source region measurements, dust
interactions with clouds, radiation, and the biosphere, effects of land use
change on dust emissions, dust impacts on air quality and human health, and
modeling of the dust cycle and its impacts.
