The  Dyson  College  of  Arts  and  Sciences,  Pace  University,  invites 
applications  for  an  anticipated  full-­time  tenure  track  position  at
 the  rank  of  Assistant  Professor  in  the Department of Biology to begin
September, 2015. The position is located on the New York City campus in
downtown Manhattan.

 

Applicants should have an earned PhD or equivalent in Biology or related
field, a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and research, and clear
evidence of experience using  molecular  tools  to  address 
biological/ecological  questions.  The  successful  candidate will teach the
second semester of the undergraduate General Biology course and  other 
courses  in  the  ecological  and  environmental  sciences,  which  may 
include  plant  ecology  or  molecular  ecology.  Applicants  will  also  be
 expected  to  develop  an externally funded research program involving
undergraduate students.
