September 8-13 (spaces available): at Windigo, Isle Royale (most easily accessed from Grand Portage, Minnesota) These botany workshops are open to anyone with beginning/intermediate knowledge of plant identification who would like to learn to identify plants of Isle Royale. You’ll learn to use such tools as a dichotomous key and hand lens to identify plants. Plant communities, rare species, ecology, and invasive species will be discussed.
