I am looking for a highly motivated graduate student at the MS level 
(possibility exists to continue on a PhD degree later) to participate in a 
research on sediment transport and sedimentation in the Mississippi-Atchafalaya 
River Delta. Potential applicants should have a BS in earth science, hydrology, 
water resources, or a closely related field. Experience in riverine study, 
modeling, and GIS/Remote Sensing are desirable. The position includes a 
competitive stipend ($25,000/year) for a period of 3 years.
