As WWF pursues an exciting new vision for harnessing
multi-disciplinary science in support of its goals, the incoming
Chief Scientist will collaborate with senior leadership to shape the
organization's agenda for scientific research and applications. S/he
will lead a team of scientists and technical experts, providing
cohesion and collaboration across WWF goals and locations. The Chief
Scientist will also be expected to serve as an influential thought
leader and spokesperson in the conservation science community writ
large and will play an important role in raising funds to support WWF science.
