Colleagues, Does anyone have any experience with inexpensive (say <$300) portable digital microscopes for photographing objects of ~1-3mm in the field, without being tethered to a laptop? While there seem to be several such devices on the market, expecting quality images almost seems too good to hope for. Can anyone convince me otherwise? Best wishes, ---Mike Palmer
