LIFE SCIENCES EDUCATION ASSISTANT PROFESSOR: The College of Science and the Center for Science and Mathematics Education at Weber State University invite applications for a tenure-track position in Life Sciences Education starting in Fall 2016. The successful candidate will be appointed at the Assistant Professor level and will be expected to: 1) teach science education courses for preservice teachers, 2) teach lower division and other Life Sciences courses in the candidate's area of specialization as needed, 3) provide outreach to local K-12 schools and districts, 4) establish an active and sustained research program that includes mentoring undergraduate students, 5) seek external funding in support of teaching or research, and 6) develop collaborations with colleagues in the College of Science.
