The US Department of Energy's Earth System Modeling (ESM) Program has just
issued a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) that will support community
input into the Accelerated Climate Model for Energy (ACME) design and
development, by inviting applications that would improve and investigate ACME's
climate system, with focus in the following areas: atmospheric chemistry,
convection, ocean biogeochemistry, tidal and estuary representations,
representations of land disturbances, and improvements to particular
system-coupling treatments.
