We are trying to germinate seeds of Spartina alterniflora, Juncus roemerianus,
and Panicum virgatum that we hand-collected from the field in coastal
Mississippi. We collected a lot of seed since the viability can sometimes be
low for Spartina, and have been trying various techniques to promote
germination (in greenhouse flats and in a growth chamber) but have had no
success yet. If anyone has tips that may be of help, please contact me
directly at lbattag...@plant.siu.edu<mailto:lbattag...@plant.siu.edu>. Thank
you.
