1Research Assistant position in conservation science modelling at the 
NationalUniversity of Singapore Dearall,I would like to inviteapplications for 
a full time Research Assistant position to work on projectsrelated to 
conservation science (bioeconomic modelling, land-use change andsustainability 
modelling). An ideal candidate willdemonstrate good critical thinking and 
independence in carrying out projecttasks. With support from other team 
members, they will be exposed to multiple conservationscience projects and 
expected to learn a range of modelling techniques with astrong focus on 
statistics and GIS.This position would beideal for individuals with a medium 
term plan of pursuing PhD studies inrelated disciplines.The RA would have 
eithera degree in ecology, geography, environmental sciences, environmental 
economicsor related disciplines. Applicants with degrees in statistics, 
mathematics,physics, engineering or computing are also encouraged to apply.The 
position is initiallyfor one year with the possibility of extension to another 
year.The salary is $3,000 permonth (US$2,132) and includes medical benefits.
