We have a fantastic, 2.5 year, fully funded postdoctoral research fellowship available to study the role of plant-insect interaction networks in plant invasions (particularly in the context of hill-slope pastures invaded by scotch broom and other woody weeds). The research fellow will lead the development of manipulative experiments to directly test the role of interaction networks in invasions, with opportunities for both field and mesocosm experimentation. The candidate will work directly with myself, Jason Tylianakis (University of Canterbury), and Barbara Barratt (Ag Research) while interacting with a broader team of plant, microbial, and entomological researchers.
Full details of the position and a link for applications are available here: http://bioprotection.org.nz/vacancies/postdoctoral-fellow-plant-insect-interaction-networks Application deadline in 29 April (NZ time!) so apply quickly!
