Ecologists, Please be aware that SESYNC pursuits may be focused exclusively on ecological OR environmental dynamics, not necessarily the linkages between ecological and social systems.
Proposals will need to demonstrate how the synthesis can contribute to addressing complex socio-environmental problems (food systems, rare unexpected events), however our intent is to foster interdisciplinarity across projects. Note that this is different from previous SESYNC RFPs!
