I seek motivated individuals to assist with ecology, conservation biology, and 
fisheries biology research projects in the Interior Highlands of Arkansas, 
Missouri and Oklahoma.  Work will include field sampling and experiments in 
streams, mesocosm and laboratory experiments, as well as office work.  Projects 
include the possibility of developing special research projects and 
co-authoring publications.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

One full time technician position is available.  Start date is June 1 
(flexible) and end date is October 1, 2017 (flexible).  Salary is $1,400 per 
month.

DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

The technician will perform work in the field, lab and greenhouse.  Duties will 
include field sampling, maintenance and operation of field and laboratory 
experiments, data collection, computer input, and analysis and writing 
(dependent on ability).  Preference will be given to candidates with a BS in 
ecology, conservation biology, fisheries or a related field.  Applicants should 
have a willingness and ability to perform field work, good note taking skills, 
and a positive attitude.
