Dear Ecologgers,
The Association for Tropical Biology and Conservation <http://tropicalbiology.org/> (ATBC) is the largest and oldest academic society dedicated to the study and conservation of tropical ecosystems. For more than 50 years, ATBC has held annual conference meetings in different tropical parts of the world and published Biotropica, one of the premier journals dedicated to publishing original research on the ecology, conservation and management of tropical ecosystems.

The organization currently has a highly successful Asia-Pacific Chapter that holds annual regional meetings, and a young Africa Chapter that is just forming.  To complement these two Chapters, the ATBC council is considering the formation of a /*Neotropical Chapte*//*r*/ and is soliciting feedback from scientists around the world who are working (or considering working) in the tropics.  We ask you to please take our short survey which should not take more than 5-10 minutes.  Please complete the survey by 1 October.
Thank You
