Plans for the *Second Annual Digital Data in Biodiversity Research Conference: Emerging Innovations for Biodiversity Data*, to be hosted jointly by the Berkeley Natural History Museums, the Berkeley Initiative for Global Change Biology, and iDigBio are progressing. *Conference dates are 4-6 June 2018*. Final updates will be complete and registration and abstract submission will open on or about 15 January.
