Funded M.Sc. or Ph.D. position for domestic (Canadian/permanent resident) 
students at Western U. or at UNB

We have a position for an. Sc. or Ph. D. position for domestic (Canadian) 
students to work on a project that aims to use UAV imagery for crop disease 
detection, starting in September 2018.

Eligible Candidates:
*       Applicants should have successfully completed a BSc. or an M. Sc. 
degree and have preferably a strong background in Phytopathology or agronomy
*       It is critical the applicant has a strong ability to data analysis as 
well as good writing and oral skills.
*       Prior research experience as documented in peer-reviewed publications 
will be an asset
*       The applicant must be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of 
Canada



The student will be co-supervised by Prof. Jinfei Wang (Western U.) and by 
Prof. Brigitte Leblon (UNB). The position is funded by an industry partner 
located in London (Ontario). The student will be located either in Western U. 
(Ontario) or at UNB (NB) but will be expected to travel from time to time at 
the other university and to the industry partner.
