POSITION SUMMARY: The Department of Integrative Biology (IB) at the University of South Florida invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure earning, Visiting Instructor. This will be a 9-month appointment with a 100% teaching assignment to begin fall semester 2018. Summer appointments are possible as is the possible extension for a second and/or third year. Applicants must have a master’s degree in Biology or a related discipline at the time of appointment. Applicants with a Ph.D. in Biology, who have experience teaching large introductory biology courses, expertise in anatomy and physiology, and using evidence-based teaching practices and instructional technology will be preferred. Experience in teaching large-enrollment courses is desirable. Candidates should submit a cover letter, CV, teaching statement, and names of three references.
