Masters Graduate Research Scholar Fall 2018​ Development of Restoration Assessment Tools and Educational Products with Drones
​ A fully funded Sea Grant Graduate Research Scholar position is available at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Department of Biology, in Dr. James Nelson’s Laboratory. I am seeking someone with strong computational and technical skills that is interested in developing UAS technology for the assessment of habitat restoration in coastal ecosystems. Additional desirable skills include an educational background in biology or geology, coding skills (e.g. R or Python), and interest in UAS technology. The successful applicant will be a Louisiana Sea Grant Scholar. The Sea Grant Scholars program is designed to build science communication skills and community engagement in future research scientists. Scholars will attend annual workshops and engage in outreach activities provided by Louisiana Sea Grant.
