The position will teach an an eight-week Master’s-level graduate course on Environmental Assessment and Regulation (Oct. 24-Dec. 12, 2017; Tues. 6pm- 10pm). The faculty member will be responsible for classroom instruction, student consultation outside of class time (at least 2 hours per week), grading, and grade submission. The position also will be responsible for coordination with the Director of the M.S. in Environmental Biology (Dr. Kris Voss).
An Environmental Science, Environmental Policy, Biology, Law, or equivalent Doctoral degree from an institution accredited by a regional accrediting association is required. Successful candidates will have professional, research, or teaching experience in Environmental Science, Environmental Law, or Environmental Policy as well as experience with documents required by the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) including categorical exclusions, environmental assessments (EAs), and environmental impact statements (EISs); and/or experience conducting environmental impact assessments.
