Job Description The Natural Resources Forest Health Project Coordinator is a two-year term position partially funded through a US Forest Service grant. This position is primarily responsible for coordinating survey and monitoring efforts related to forest pests and pathogens and communicating results with regional partners, various state and federal agencies and academic partners through trainings, workshops and peer reviewed publications. This position reports to the Plant and Restoration Ecologist at the Watershed Stewardship Center. This an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a creative, team-oriented environment using diverse strategies to address an important and high profile conservation issue. This position will work throughout the Park District, across the LEAP region and limitedly throughout the native range of American beech trees.
