Salmon Coast Field Station, located in the small community of Echo Bay, BC, seeks a Station Coordinator to manage station operations, including research projects, education-group visits, logistics, administration, and maintenance. This is an invigorating and dynamic role that can be held by one or more individuals. It brings something new every day, working with a great team in an incomparable location.
Salmon Coast, run as a non-profit society, is situated in Kwikwasut’inuxw Haxwa’mis territory and operates in broader Musgamagw Dzawada’enuxw territory. Research hosted at and run by the station, primarily focused on interactions between farmed and wild salmon, has helped build understanding and shape policy and management practices.
