The Department of Life Sciences at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel, 
invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Molecular Ecology, 
beginning October 1st, 2019.

We are interested in candidates who conduct research that relies on molecular 
genetic approaches to address questions in ecology, evolution and/or 
conservation. Relevant fields include (but are not limited to) ecological, 
environmental, evolutionary and population genomics, and molecular adaptations 
underlying individual traits, such as behavior and life history.

The successful candidate should have outstanding PhD and postdoctoral training 
records. This person will be expected to develop an externally funded and 
internationally recognized research program in Molecular Ecology.

In addition, the Department is committed to quality teaching at all levels. The 
hired candidate will be expected to contribute to both the undergraduate and 
graduate curricula through teaching and mentoring students. The language of 
undergraduate instruction in the Department is Hebrew.
