Several of these sessions will highlight topics and themes addressed in our forthcoming book, *Practicing Geography: Careers for Enhancing Society and the Environment* (Pearson 2012). Attached is the official call for participation. (With apologies for any cross-postings!) We are seeking geographers from a variety of backgrounds to participate in panel discussions, workshops, and/or career mentoring sessions. Please share this CFP with your specialty or affinity group and encourage your members to consider joining us in New York. We are planning a number of special activities for students, early-career professionals, and newcomers in addition to these careers-related sessions. Please indicate your interest in participating by emailing Sarah Siegel, Research Assistant (ssie...@aag.org) with your c.v./resume by September 2, if possible.
