I have heard many objections, here are a few:
1. Community interaction is difficult to administer and could
cause convicts that the school would become involved in.
2. Schools need to prepare students for jobs and
we are not producing enough students with scientific
skills.
3. The safety of the students and liability for their actions
is difficult to determine beforehand.
