Yep. After six and a half decades of looking at humans, it appears to me
that those who feel confident and important feel happiest. It's about
self-image. Various ones try different paths, the Trumps with biz deals and
money, many in the middle leading typical lives--just being good
friends/spouses/parents/workers, others by doing volunteer/charity/helpful
work. If we are highly self-reliant we tend to feel secure; if we feel we
are doing valuable work we tend to feel important. I have done a lot of
activities. My greatest satisfaction has come from communicating with those
seeking a self-reliant life and knowing that I am helping them improve
their lives. Priceless.
