If I may butt in, let's assume its impossible to do entirely at this
time, that we can only disconnect ourselves one step at a time, by becoming
more self-reliant, self-sustainable, and autonomous both individually and as
communities, using low-tech means wherever we can. Obviously, the less we
have to rely on outside sources and "the system", the more unattached we will
become, the more self-reliant, the less we will need money, eventually
developing into a network of self-reliant communities where money is not an
ingredient. Eventually, making the whole world this way. What do you think?
Letting the more enlightened lead the way, be the models, and allowing the
hundredth monkey thing to happen.
