Exactly! We might finally begin to end destructive dualisms such as city:country, urban:suburban, reserve:everywhere else. In fact, these dualisms are false. All are inter-dependent. One allows/perpetuates/defines/comes at the expense of the other. Chasing the ideal of "country living" perpetuates sprawl and encourages the notion that its okay for our cities to be ecological wastelands. Humans must densify. We need to. But why not work towards incorporating country/ecology/habitat into the urban environment? All would benefit. Polly
