Every so often a magazine comes along that resonates with ones thinking and demands to be be shared. The current issue of Utne fit this description. It talks about current politics, progressive ideas, war, and how busy schedules rob us of enjoyment. Interspersed with all this are short information pieces to trigger thought.
One of my favorite articles is titled: The teacher who Opened my mind. Within all the descriptions and ideas is one that has been tormenting me for the last few years. Basically, it says truth has many faces and can't be found by standing in one place. We have to explore and grow to see the many sides to issues and historical events. Some other magazines that sometimes open up thinking are: HomePower Permaculure (UK) Small Farmers Journal There used to be some gardening magazines on this list and if anyone knows about a good one please let me know. OG appears to be driven by marketing, National Gardening Magazine died as did Kitchen Gardening magazine.
