It looks like your FLASH doesn't read 32 bit quantities properly. Unless your FLASH driver sets 'CYGSEM_IO_FLASH_READ_INDIRECT', RedBoot will read the FLASH (FIS directory, FCONFIG data, etc) directly from the FLASH, using the most expedient means possible. On most platforms, this will be using normal 'memcpy()'.
