[ECOS] Building configtool

I'm trying to build the configtool on an Ubuntu 8.04 system from the CVS 
HEAD. Unfortunately the build fails both with wxWidgets 2.6.4 and 2.8.8. 
Can you please tell me what version should currently be used?
