In ECS 1.2, this introduces line feed in <A> elements.  So the underline
extends beyond the words in Internet Explorer.  I guess I can turn off
pretty print for <A> nodes.  Is there an easy way to get around this?

For example, you get

<A href="http://somewhere">
click here
</A>
