DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:
To support the customer in terms of Electronic Data Interface (EDI).
SCOPE OF THE EFFORT:
This is a critical project to streamline business between this manufacturing customers. An effective project and roll out will equate to vast cost savings for this company.
LIFECYCLE AND DELIVERABLES:
This company has no plans to hire a permanaent employee for this position and expects the project to last 12-24 months.
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This individual will be responsible for the management of this company's hundreds of customers/suppliers to convert there invoice process to an electronic system. They will create electronic accounts for all clients using EDI and manage this exchange setting up these these accounts providing customer service on software issues etc.

Will need some understanding of the manufacturing business
DESIRED:
AS400 is a plus
TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT:
Working in a manufacturing facility

This is not in a corporate location, need to be comfortable with a manufacturing type environment.
