In my humble opinion, the real 'buzz' for XML is that middle and lower tier
companies are adopting it as quickly as the largest ones, making the EDI
investments of large firms extensible by using EDI rules to create the XML
messages. To answer your question, Gartner Group is gathering statistics, but
some data can be obtained from the traditional EDI translator companies plus
companies like Commerce One, XML Solutions, etc.
