DIRECT CONNECT is the proper name for the HOME DEPOT email menagerie.
If you have large amounts of data to send them, they want you to attach the EDI
file to an email
using x.400 or SMTP. They also require you to retrieve emails from their system.
I have yet to get this to work without creating a JAVA nightmare.
So, if there is anyone out there who has been able to get this to work from
both the UNIX system, automatically attaching it from a script, and a WINDOWS
based
system, automatically attaching it from a script, I would be much appreciative.

I dont know if Home depot has a home groan program called Direct Connect, but
could you by chance be referring to CONNECT:Direct by Sterling (AKA NDM Network
Data Mover).
If so I can give you info on that, if not I cant help you.
