Pam, I've been there too. The first map I worked with was an outbound 850, and it took awhile to figure out the flow (outbound is much easier than inbound). Lots of trial and error in STMAP. In the "Running incoming Map" panel, select "Verbose Trace On" option. "View Run Log" will show your trace after a run. You'll become accustomed to what certain messages mean. You can view the EDI and raw data files simultaneously to assist with trace. There are other things I can tell you, not easy in a note. I'm in class on-site, so can't help very much today. If you contact me by e-mail or phone, I can talk with you further about map-flows. Can send you some samples of documentation on actual map flows I'm using, among other things. Have to get to class shortly. I am having the hardest time with this process. I have gone on the web site and I have looked in the book and yes I have called Harbinger Support group, but I think they are busy because I already have an open case with them and I am waiting for my contact to call me back. I am leaving for the day, but if someone can call me or e-mail me tomorrow I would greatly appreciate it.
