Hi Chris,

We also had similar issues, but rectified by attaching data using MIME
encoding and set the MIME type to one of the following:

Application/EDI-Edifact
Application/octet-stream

Unfortunetly, the sender would need to attach data and your POP3 client
would need to MIME decode it.

If you are looking for a MIME encoder/decoder, I can recomend Mpack
(freeware and you get the C source).

We also recomend using PGP as the encryption method to protect sensitive
company EDI data.
(Well at least some sort of basic protection anyway)
