Hi John, 
Free is never free. openas2 is good enough if you want a prototype 
for the further development. Otherwise, it is good for you to find a 
thridparty software, it is not expensive if you just have several 
Trading Partners. The open source is not free actually. You have to 
take time(sometimes it is long) to get usd to it then find IT guys to 
improve or extend it based on your needs. Once the software was done, 
you have to maintant it and update it. Are IT guys free? No , their 
work still should be expensive and hard and respectable. So just pay 
less money to thrid party and leave any trouble to them.
