respectively.

You don't specify what messages/transaction sets you are dealing with, but
in theory it can be done. I have several clients who map incoming X12 830s
and EDIFACT DELFORs, and 862 and DELJITs, to one flat file layout, and
generating 856s and DESADVs out of one flat file layout.
