Technical Business Analyst Description: The selected candidate will work with Clients and the company's development team to configure the company's Data Pipeline to meet the Client's business needs and insure a smooth and successful product implementation. They will work with the client to understand their business processes and requirements, translate these requirements into technical terms, and work with the technical team to resolve technical issues impacting business needs. Key Responsibilities: � Assist in the development of EDI & XML schemas, transformations and mappings. � Develop functional test plan and scripts, and conduct functional testing � Collaborate with business partners to conduct end-user acceptance testing � Work with development team to ensure product design and construction meets the requirements � Provide training, and on-the-job functional assistance as required � Develop application migration schedule and assist with project plans � Proactively identify improvement opportunities Requirements, Knowledge and Skills: � Minimum requirements include Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or equivalent and 5+ years business experience supporting projects including projects in a Supply Chain Logistics or Risk Management environment. � Understanding of supply chain logistics processes & electronic messaging transaction sets a must. � 5+ years experience with EDI & XML schema development � 3+ years experience with EAI application suites - preferably MS BizTalk � Understand interaction of business requirements, project planning and IT methodologies in creating and supporting applications. � Experience gathering and actualizing business requirements for complex IT projects � Strong problem-solving skills to address complex problems within the technical arena and develop creative and practical recommendations � General knowledge of SQL, and understanding of, or experience using relational database structure, and client server applications � Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and methodologies � Team player/Strong interpersonal skills � Highly organized and self-directed [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] .
