Exactly the point, neither made the short list. If you are considering upgrading from Gentran I would recommend you consider other solutions beside Webmethods or GIS for your SAP environment. You commented: I need facts and opinions. - Fact is the independent study by Daimler found neither GIS nor Webmethods are best for an SAP environment. They didn't even make the short list. I need war stories. I would LIKE to hear tales that GIS is great, that it runs rings around webMethods, that it's relatively painless to migrate from G:B to GIS (well, okay; I've seen a Gentran:Basic map and I know that this isn't really true.) - The independent eval says, "Seeburger is great, runs rings around any other solution for an SAP environment." It is as easy to migrate as either of your proposed options. :-) - Gentran Basic to GIS is effectively a new install not an upgrade and this is strong justification to look at other solutions in the market. You seem to be predisposed to go GIS but if you are willing to consider their #1 competitor with documentation and independent test data to show it's the best for an SAP user we'd love to talk to you.
