I've noticed a number of postings lately from people looking for alternative software, asking for opinions, trying to fill positions etc. We just launched the EC-EDI Resource Center which might be helpful in your research.
The center contains articles, whitepapers and newsletters on E-commerce and EDI with many links to associations, user groups, B2B hubs, Healthcare payers and events. There's also a job board if you're looking for work or looking to fill a position. Access to the web site is free and it is updated regularly. We also publish the EC-EDI Vendor Directory which can be downloaded at no cost for those who qualify. You can find the Resource Center and Vendor Directory at http://www.ec-edi.biz.
