No, I just provided the information since in UN/EDIFACT there is a special working group that deals with that functional area resulting in those messages for that specific purpose. As I see it, file size it not really an issue unless you are sending over over 10,000 ledgers with over 10,000 accounting entries per ledger within a single message. Even that should not be problem since the EDIFACT syntax allows you to sequence messages in order to transmit large amount of data which cannot fit within a single message detail because of the loop counter limits.
